Karma in simple terms by Chögyam Trungpa!

“So the understanding of karma here is very broad, very open. It gives us a sense that everything is up to us. That’s the basic point of understanding karma: that everything is up to us, and we have to work on ourselves. Maybe you get some help from others, but even so, you have to work on yourself. From this point of view, the attainment of enlightenment is transcending neurotic habitual patterns, and in order to transcend habitual patterns, one has to cut through the root of karma, which is ego’s sense of security. The birth of ego is where the original basic question of karma arises.”
